Counselling for anxiety, perfectionism, & stress

Do you ever feel controlled by your fears and worries? Or overwhelmed by things that haven’t even happened yet? Maybe you wish you could just turn off your thoughts, even for a couple hours. You do whatever you can to feel more in control of your life, but the feeling never seems to last for long.

You tell yourself that you’ll finally feel happy when you hit that next goal - whether that's getting a promotion, finishing your degree, or finding a partner. It’s hard to celebrate your successes, because it always feels like there’s something more you should do.

Your self-talk is mostly self-criticism, pointing out all the ways you’re falling short. Sometimes it feels like you’re running a never-ending race, where the finish line keeps moving further and further out of reach.

I provide supportive counselling for people dealing with anxiety, perfectionism, and stress, as well as trauma, depression, and relationship issues.

My goals are to help clients:

  • Challenge fears that keep them stuck

  • Feel more in control of their actions

  • Build skills for coping with tough situations

  • Push back against sky-high expectations

  • Feel more content with where they’re at right now

My approach is calm and compassionate, with a focus on helping people build on their strengths. I’ll work with you to define your goals and map out a plan to reach them. I’m a Registered Psychologist (#1105) in Saskatchewan, with a Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology.
